A great objective statement is short and straightforward. It should tell your target employers your exact career intention. Are you seeking a full-time work as a sales agent? Do you want a challenging management position in a hotel or restaurant? Your resume’s objective statement should clearly point that out.
Aside from stating your purpose for sending your resume, your objective statement must also be able to tell your prospective employers that you’re worth shortlisting for an interview. State explicitly the benefits that you can offer to convince employers to consider your application. But don’t tell everything on the objective statement. You can just focus on the essential ones then back them up later in the main section of your resume.
