The ingredients are as follows: 1/3 cup of olive oil, 3 cloves of garlic (minced), 2/3 cup of clam juice, a cup of heavy cream, 1/3 cup of dry white wine, 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese , 1/2 tbsp of chopped parsley, 2 tbsp of lemon juice, 1/4 tsp of dried oregano leaves, crushed, 1/4 tsp of dried basil leaves, 1 kg of cooked and drained pasta and 1 lb. of peeled and deveined shrimp with tails removed.
Over a medium high heat, heat oil in large skillet, add garlic and simmer until the garlic is tender. In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook over a medium-low heat until it is opaque.
Remove the shrimp while reserving the liquid. Following that, add the clam juice and bring it to a boil. Next, pour in the wine and cook over medium-high heat and stir constantly. After about 3 minutes, reduce heat to low and add cream while still stirring constantly. Add cheese and stir until the mixture appears to be smooth enough. Wait for the mixture to achieve the right thickness.
Add shrimp to the sauce and heat through. Pour over the lemon juice and add the parsley, basil and oregano. Have the pasta in a large bowl.
