This particular recipe is designed for a skillet which can also be used with an oven. But if you don’t have a skillet, you can just cook it first in the stove and transfer it in a baking pan.

The ingredients needed are the following: 1 pack of frozen hash brown that are preferably shredded; 2 cups of cheese; ¼ cup of minced onions; 1 cup of milk; ½ cup beef broth or you can use the canned ones; 2 tablespoons of melted butter; a dash of powdered garlic; 1 teaspoon of salt; and ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper. After preparing all the ingredients, preheating the oven to 425°F is a must. You will then need to mix the hash brown, onion, and cheese in a medium-sized bowl.

Get another bowl where you can combine the beef broth, milk, half of the melted butter; powdered garlic, pepper, and salt. After doing the previous step, you then need to combine the wet ingredients with the dry ones. And then you need to heat the remaining melted butter in the skillet.

When the skillet is already hot, spoon the hash brown mixture one by one on top of it and wait until the cheese has already melted. Transfer then the skillet inside the oven and bake it for around 45 to 60 minutes.
